“Hide and Seek” illustrates how childhood games can be an analogy of adult struggles. We reminisce about hide and seek as a fun game, whereas now we alienate ourselves. Our greatest tragedy used to be falling off a tree, but now it’s about failing in life. The single is a contrast of nostalgia and aggressiveness wrapped in a groovy and energetic rhythm section. It's a bittersweet, yet punchy rock and metal fusion.
