"Through My Eyes" is about the damage that false positivity may have on one’s life: how it often dismisses others’ feelings and traps them into thinking that their own attitude is the problem. The song takes you on a journey that opens with soothing guitars, followed by NU metal verses and uplifting choruses, and ending in a crushing breakdown. This is an epic and energetic ballad for the emo and metalcore generation.
